Families Moving Forward works very hard, every day, to help our guests, alumni and tenants improve their lives and the lives of their children. Some issues, however, are not subject to a person-by-person approach. This is where advocacy comes in. Families Moving Forward is very excited to announce our new Interfaith Advocacy Program, which will kick off in mid-April this year. This will be a grass-roots effort to organize ordinary people of faith to work at all levels of government. Our goal will be to influence public policies and legislation on all issues that affect poverty, homelessness and affordable housing. Please join us! Together, we will be a community of people who believe giving a family a place to lay their heads is only the first step on the journey home.
